Becoming a single parent, whether by choice or through circumstances beyond your control, can be at times scary and perhaps even overwhelming.  In some cases, many of you co-parent with an Ex, which can obviously present its own set of unique challenges.

“You can raise good children in single parent households, and many of you perhaps here today come from that type of environment.  It is possible and many do it in heroic situations, but it’s much more difficult and the numbers move against us in a broad society.” ~ Sam Brownback

This month, we are proud to support and promote March 21st, Single Parents’ Day, a day set aside for “honoring the single parent who is basically doing double duty” and “giving them some respect.”  (Mary Anne Britton, International Vice President of Membership for Parents Without Partners.)
